The Marxist, the Moderate & the Missing Candidate

It was certainly a turning point in my respect for Governor Mike Huckabee. After Gov. Huckabee ended his presidential campaign and joined Senator McCain on the campaign trail, he made the following statement,

"[McCain's] conservatism is unquestionable".

I almost fell out of my chair. I walked away from the TV in anger. That statement is a real problem in this country boy's mind. Obama is a Marxists; McCain is a Moderate, and true conservatives are now missing from the race, if they were ever present. How many moderate McCain positions would you like for me to cite? If you don't believe Obama is a Marxist, maybe you should read the Communist Manifesto.

Huckabee's blanket statement about McCain reflects the current lack of guts, character, and integrity in U.S. politics. Of course McCain's conservatism is questionable. President Bush's conservatism is questionable as well. The conservatism of our entire nation, including the Republican party, is questionable at this point in history.


Friends, when analyzing the 2008 Presidential campaign, my computer system produces the following error: "Right Candidate Not Found". I ask all of you to examine the founder's policy positions. I ask all of you to look at basic government philosophy, economic policy, education policy, social policy and foreign policy. Contrast where we are today against the Communist Manifesto and the Humanist Manifesto. It is clear where we are headed. We have drifted so far to the left, we are headed toward socialist/communist ideas and many don't even recognize it, nor are they concerned.


Now, having said all of that, here comes the big moment... at this point I plan to vote for John McCain. I know plenty of social conservatives are unhappy with McCain, and I share that frustration. On the other hand, Obama will clearly take our nation further toward socialism. He will expand government programs rapidly and make more people dependant upon the system. He will not be liberating any people that are in bondage, he will be signing more up, and they'll love him for it.


I believe in personal liberty and personal responsibility. I believe in a working America that can compete in any market place WITHOUT the aid of the federal government. I believe in families that take care of themselves, and neighbors that help widows and orphans.


If you vote for Obama, be prepared, you will see an unprecedented decrease in personal liberty. Your children will not be handed the America we once knew. McCain represents the status-quo in many ways, but what choice do we have? "Right Candidate Not Found" is the slogan for the 2008 Presidential race. McCain is an electable choice for Moderate policies over those of Karl Marx. This would buy more time to turn the path of our nation back toward our founding principles.

I urge to look at the policies of Bob Barr & Chuck Baldwin. These guys are more in touch with our Founding principles than most. There would have to be a radical up-swing in their viability as a candidate before I could cast a vote in their favor, but I do encourage you to consider their policies.

The Peril of Politics and Religion

The Pew Forum released a June 2nd article titled "Hazards for both sides when politicians court pastors" written by Adelle M. Banks and Daniel Burke. The article cites the perils of religious injections, and the consequences that continue to unfold.

It is interesting to reflect on the lack of actual policy content in the religious injections of pastors, during the 2008 Presidential primary. The most developed element is the foreign policy debate over Israel and the War in Iraq, but name a pastor who articulates clear policy stances that have solid Biblical merit.

I challenge everyone reading this post to examine the Scriptures in light of general political philosophy, economic policy, education policy, social policy and foreign policy. Religious Humanism has clear policy objectives stated in the Humanist Manifesto (which I mostly reject). We can also see religious principles that underpin our Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. That includes the principle that you cannot force someone into faith or specific worship practices, which only makes a better hypocrite, but that does not exclude religious principle from good government policy.

Atheist God Loosens Restraint on Chinese Parents

The atheist god called "Communist Government" has slightly loosen his grip on the emotionally strained parents that lost a child in the recent Chinese earth quakes. The one child policy of China has been clarified to tolerate an additional child in the horrific case of children killed by the May 12, 2008 disaster.

While the story catches a few headlines in the U.S., I rarely encounter anyone outraged by the "one child policy". "China's one child policy was launched in the late 1970s to control China's exploding population and ensure better education and health care" states an AP article released on May 26, 2006. The reality is Americans use similar logic to justify the use of birth-control pills, abortion, and many other means of population control, though it is not a legal restriction imposed by government.

The interesting element is the contradiction to God's Word and the privilege he entrusted us with: "Be fruitful and multiply", "fill the earth and subdue it". The Lord God commands us to reproduce; to produce godly offspring. He commands us and expects us to populate the earth with His children.

Furthermore, He is the giver of rights; not the state. Many of us Americans have bought into the ideal of micro-managing the population, rather than "being fruitful" and multiplying. I know, you have all manner of rationale. You need to save money, become more stable, plan for the future, etc...

Nonetheless, government has no right or authority to limit the number of children you have. It is not the government's right to give or take away. It belongs to God. Well, unless your an atheist. I hope you see the point...

"Religion, or a lack thereof, does impact policy".

Secular Progressives and Liberals in the U.S trend toward policies similar to China's Communist government. What side of the argument do you land on? If a majority of American's supported a limit on child-bearing, would it be Constitutional?

Robert Novak Doesn't Recognize the Plague

Today's GOPUSA news included an interested article from Robert Novak, "McCain, Huckabee And The Evangelicals". Novak wonders aloud if Huckabee is helping or hurting McCain, and if Huckabee really supports McCain or not. Novak suggests that Huckabee and Michael Farris view an Obama presidency as a plague that America deserves and which fulfils prophecy. You can read Novak's view for yourself on the following link. This writer disagrees with Novak.

The scary part of Novak's article is that he doesn't blast the socialist ideologies of Obama. Militant evangelicals are the apparent enemy in Novak's mind. The last I checked socialist and communist ideologies were the enemies against which American soldiers have fought upon numerous occasions. Countless American boys have given their lives fighting such governments, and now it's being welcomed at home.

Thanks to the Humanist ideologies inculcated into our public education system, many Americans now tend toward socialist policies. Many Americans stand behind the socialist ideas of Hillary and Obama, not to mention a good number of Republican policies. Apparently Novak doesn't think that to be as big of a threat as evangelicals.

My friends, do not be disillusioned. Socialism is on the rise in America. Evangelical or not, are you going to stand and fight, or welcome it in?

Theocratic Demagoguery

This article is overdue. Frankly I'm bewildered on why the Religious Right allows this image to persist. Assertions of Theocratic motives, accusations, and demagoguery most often go unchallenged, and even when it's such a clear constitutional issue.

Does the Religious Right really want to establish a Christian Theocracy? Is that really their agenda?

The Darwinian Evolutionists, and a host of other groups that hate Christian fundamentalism, often make this charge. They attempt to scare people away from Christianity, asserting that Christianity is being forced upon an un-suspecting public. In the famous words of Col. Sherman T. Potter, "Horse hockey!"


I'm clearly a fundamentalist, and I would be hard pressed to find anyone that believes State Religion is the way to go. The people I know understand that freedom of religious expression is foundational to our nation. They understand that forcing people to comply with religious beliefs and certain liturgical practices only produces better hypocrites. I believe Jefferson spoke to this issue himself.


The confusion lies in the assertion of Christian morality. If a Christian asserts a moral issue in a public legal or political domain, they suddenly become a Theocrat. Non-sense! Religious systems contain more than just faith and worship practices. They also include personal moral laws, punitive and judicial laws, education laws, etc ... As does a just government. The founders knew that faith and worship practices belonged to individuals and the churches. I agree.


At the same time, morality is essential to free society. Government that does not enforce moral standards is chaotic. Let us continue to blend immorality with democracy and wait for the results.


Asserting Theocratic Demagoguery has been effective. It's time for more fundamentalist to challenge those assertions.

Ben Stein Deserves an Award

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed


This movie is long overdue, and I am very grateful that Ben Stein and Nathan Frankowski had the guts and the conviction to produce it. The movie reveals the myths, hatred, and bigotry of some contemporary Darwin disciples. Yes, all “religion” , including Darwinian Evolution and Religious Humanism have low lights in rationality and bigotry. Bigotry and bias are base human traits of which Darwinian Evolutionists are not exempt. Richard Dawkins is captured on film stating that life on earth was "seeded" by more intelligent beings from another world, not to mention his obvious biases, which we all have, and must admit.

I agree that Adaptation of the Species is scientific and observable. Origin of the Species is not. Darwin is long since dead. His simplistic view of the cell is totally outdated, and his later theory is dying rapidly. Molecular biology has demonstrated that intelligence exists inside the cell, and no one really knows how it got there. Debate and further research is required, but you may experience troubles at Iowa State, George Mason, and Baylor universities.

Stein’s main point is that a "Berlin Wall" has been erected by the Darwinian Evolutionists and the academic elite. "Intelligent Design" is taboo. Credentialed scientists are loosing their jobs and tenure. The horrors of Nazi Germany and U.S. eugenic programs are clearly attached to ardent masterminds of "Natural Selection". This wall of isolation is destroying freedom and science in America, not to mention the impact it has on morality and learning overall.

You MUST SEE this movie! Stein deserves an award, but it won’t be for peace!

Bewilderment Among Professional Pork Spenders Association

They are professionals. They were training in the fine and brilliant institutions of the United States. Now they've made it to the top. They did their time; won their way through one bitter campaign fight after another. They are the federal decisions makers now.

They know best how to spend our money. They can spend it better than we can. They responsibly examine the needs of our nation and the world. Then they put the money right where it's needed ... so they think or claim. The American people see them more like the Professional Pork Spenders Association, not U.S. Statesmen, and they wonder in bewilderment why they have such a low approval rating.

Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas, has hit it right on the head. Dick Morris' book, Outrage, also captures this issue and many others. It's the pork! It's earmarking (among other things)!

Friends, where is the outrage? Why do we tolerate this non-sense? It's been going on for years, and it continues to be a major problem. A problem to the tune of $18.3 billion this year.

Please read Senator Cornyn's article, sign the 100,000 strong petition, and be a loud voice! Be heard! Make some noise! Help the Professional Pork Spenders Association understand why they have such a low approval rating.

Not to miss an opportunity here ... how is it that "educated" men can do these things in clear conscience? C.S. Lewis put it this way,

"Education without values ... seems to make man a more clever devil."

Without a Biblical education; With religion and morality, self-control, democracy is a dangerous form of government.
